Having a Ball...
What a great pun, ner ner ner... So this Thursday night Matt and I went to my Brigade's Ball, and I must say my expectations were pretty low - I haven't been to a whole lot of enjoyable military functions, especially when uncomfortable uniforms are involved. (ESPECIALLY when I have no choice but to wear a skirt, boo!)
However, we ended up having a pretty good time - the location was excellent, the food was actually good, and we got a room at the resort so neither of us had to be a DD, hooray! As always, I love pictures so here ya go:

The extremes of April...
Last week started off with a foot of snow (picture #1).
Two days later the snow melted and it is now shorts-weather (picture #2). Hurray!!
If you're curious, Matt is filling in the ruts left by the Army movers last fall, when they decided that driveways are for wussies. I say, nice lawns are for wussies, whoo!
